The Hopewell Area SD would like to highlight a few dates (May 14, May 18, and June 11) to the public where meetings are being held to assist in determining the future of Hopewell schools. Please read the attached Superintendent's letter dated 4-30-2024 below for details. Welcome to 6thGrade!!!

Hi! My name is Kelly Lewis and I teach 6thGrade Language Arts and Social Studies at Hopewell Junior High. It is hard to believe.... this is my 18th year of teaching in the district! I went to Plum Senior High School and graduated in 1993. (Go Mustangs!!!) I obtained my BS in Elementary Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I was originally hired full-time in Hopewell as a 5thGrade teacher. I taught for 10 years in 5thand then bid upstairs to 6thgrade. I wanted to stay in the Junior High because it is a new adventure everyday! J

BE PREPARED FOR CLASS

- have all materials needed for class, including a sharpened pencil with an eraser, and your planner

 BE RESPECTFUL

- of each other and of the teacher(s).  Disrespect will NOT be tolerated in Room 207.

 BE RESPONSIBLE

- for yourself, your belongings, and your space

 BE ON TIME

- we have lots to learn, so be ready when the bell rings!
