K-6 Summer School Enrollment NOW OPEN
Choice of two 3-week sessions: Session 1: June 21-July 9 OR Session 2: July 12- July 29.
 Sessions will be held Monday through Friday from 8:30am-12:30pm at
Margaret Ross Elementary (K-2) and Hopewell Memorial Junior High School (3-6). 
Transportation will be provided for all students.

Employment Opportunity

The Hopewell Area School District has an opening for a full-time Diesel/Gas Mechanic.
 
Applicants must have current PA State inspection license; current class B CDL with S&P endorsement with air brake restriction removed; experience with MIG and TIG welder, arc welder and torch equipment; read and utilize mechanics technical manuals, self-study courses and electrics/mechanical schematics; conduct electronics diagnostics on computerized engines; 3 years experience in diagnostic and repair of all mechanical facets of a school vehicle/bus to include but not limited to:  engines, transmissions and electrical systems; able to provide own hand tools up to 3/4"; must be drug and alcohols free and pass an annual physical examination; and pass all required background checks and clearances.
 
12 month position with hourly rate of compensation and fringe benefits in compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Bus Drivers - Help Wanted

Substitute School Bus Drivers needed. $20.01per hour (2 hours minimum call out). Will train.

Food Service Substitute Positions - Help Wanted

Hopewell Area School District is currently hiring Substitute Food Service Workers. These positions are on-call positions used for filling in as needed in the cafeterias to cover employee call offs with most shifts being between 2-4 hours per day when needed. Applicants need to be available to work Monday thru Friday, pass state and federal clearences, and be easily reached by phone.
