Please read the attached Superintendent's letter dated 4-30-2024 below for details. All information regarding school facility and consolidation considerations can be found by selecting the "2024 Facility Master Planning Process" tab on the district's main webpage below.

EXCUSES

EXCUSES

Medical Excuses:Students with medical restrictions must still dress for class and will be required to perform an alternate safe activity (with physician permission). A can do list will be sent to the doctors office. The doctor can check what the student can do. An example would be having a student with a broken arm ride a stationary bike with their legs.   If a student misses three or more classes or needs adaptations for a prolonged period a doctor’s excuse is required.

*Students who are excused from all types of physical activity will be required to complete a written assignment during class.

Athletic Excuses:
Athletics is not a substitute for a quality physical education course; therefore, athletes will not be excused from actively participating in physical education lessons.  Teacher discretion will be used in assigning the amount of activity to an athlete on the day of a competition.
