Dear Families,

The first grade teachers at Margaret Ross Elementary want to welcome your child to a new school year. Listed below are the supplies that your child will need to bring on the first day of school:

Add the following items from the above supplies to your child’s pencil box:

• 4 Ticonderoga pencils - sharpened

• 1 box 24 Crayola crayons

• 1 pair of scissors; labeled with your child’s name               

• 1 large Elmer’s glue stick

• 1 fine tip dry erase marker

• 1 dry erase marker eraser

• 1 highlighter

Place remaining items in a large, plastic storage bag (or bags)- labeled with your child’s name. These will be used to replenish supplies for your child throughout the school year:

• 9 large Elmer’s glue sticks

• 5 boxes of 24 Crayola crayons

• 4 dozen Ticonderoga pencils

• 1 package of pencil top erasers

• 11 Fine tip dry erase markers 

• 1 box of Kleenex ~ Last Names Beginning With A – M 

• 1 container of Clorox Wipes ~ Last Names Beginning With N – Z 

• 3 Highlighters

• 2 plastic pocket folders (labeled with your child’s name) 

• Headphones (labeled with your child’s name)

*Any unused materials will be sent home with your child at the end of the school year.
