Competition Practice Schedules

Academic Games -
There are five categories in which to compete as listed below.  The first three games are multiple choice based questions.  Proganda and Presidents will have specific areas in which to focus your preparation on.  World Events is for the entire calendar year of world events in any area of interest.  Equations and LinguiSHTIKS are both dice games utilizing mathematical and grammatical talents.

Chain Reaction Contraption
This is a team based competition utilizing engineering and physics concepts and talents to build a Rube Goldberg machine.  Team leaders are assigned and possibly subgroup leaders depending on the concepts to be created.  The sponsors website is www.chainreactioncontest.org and will have rules and contest task information.
 
Various design meetings occur during a common lunch period for the bulk of the team.  A few students are excused from classes to be able to attend.
 
Sunday afternoons from September to December will be build sessions at the Misiuda household.

World Quest with World Affairs of Pittsburgh
This is a international trivia competition sponsored by the World Affairs Summit of Pittsburgh.  This competition will occur in the spring of 2016.  Research and preparation will begin when school starts.  Those truly interested could begin studies over the summer.
