Computational Thinking with Robots 1

Hurricane Harvey Rescue Mission. Students will be collecting data on the movement of their drone. They will then use this data to program their drone to complete a rescue mission.

Computational Thinking with Robots, will introduce students to programming VEX IQ Robots. This is being made possible through the generosity of VEX Robotics and Robomatter Inc. who have donated 5 VEX SuperKits, various robot parts, software and the curriculum that we will be using this year.

The students will be gaining valuable Computational Thinking Skills while learning to program the robots this year. Research has shown that once the students know how to program the robots, we can then use the robots to supplement the curriculum of various disciplines ( i.e. math, science, L.A. Social Studies, etc... ).
