Remote Learning Days

In the event of a school cancellation, students will work remotely.  Students were informed during grade levels meetings held during the week of August 30th of the procedures and expectations.   Teachers will post assignments in their Google Classrooms for students to complete while remote.  Students are to follow this schedule, as if they were in school.  Staff will attempt to respond to questions throughout the day.  However, a set time noted as Office Hours is most likely when questions will be addressed by teachers.

Families

As we all know the weather is very difficult to accurately predict.  Therefore, we ask families to develop a plan with their children in the event the District has to call a Two-Hour Delay, an unplanned Early Dismissal or cancellation.   Additionally, we ask that families please notify the school office in the event of a change to any contact information.  This is very helpful to make certain that District phone blasts and emails are received.

Another avenue utilized to make certain all are aware of cancellations, delays, etc. is via Remind.  If you have not already done so, please visit the section on this website and follow the steps to do so.  This is just another way we attempt to keep our families informed.  If you have more than one student at the Jr. High, please only select one grade level when registering for Remind notifications.

Important Notice regarding Jr. High Dismissal

Important Notice Regarding Jr. High Dismissal

Parents/guardians picking-up their child at dismissal are reminded to please exit the Jr. High via the outside lane towards the front of the Jr. High & Brodhead Road.  Be cautious doing so as student will be crossing the road.

Please do not cross traffic heading towards the Hopewell Township Municipal Building and Hopewell Police Department (Clark Boulevard).  Also, please do not block the intersection near the Police Department.  Doing either hinders the bus drivers' ability to navigate the turn on to school property and delays student departure times.
