Greetings! My name is Julie Coston, and I am the speech-language pathologist at Independence Elementary and Hopewell Senior High Schools. I am excited to begin the 2016-2017 school year in the Hopewell Area School District!
Prior to joining the staff in the Hopewell Area School District, I worked with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit. I received a Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language Pathology with a minor in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Eastern Michigan University. I am a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, and licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language and Hearing.
Speech/language therapy services will be provided in a five-day rotation. Your child will receive a speech/language folder that will include activities for you to complete with your child. Your assistance and support in helping your child to complete these activities is essential to your child's success in speech/language!
