Description:
It is with great anticipation and excitement that we look forward to the start of a new
school year. We hope that you and your child share in this excitement. We know that
any time we experience a major transition in life that we also experience some tension
associated with change.
In order to reduce the apprehension students may feel and to ease your child in
transitioning to a new school building, we extend this invitation to all incoming 9th
grade students, new students and parents to attend an Open House/Building Tour
on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 9:00 AM.
Our program will include an introduction of the principals and staff members who are
present.
We will explain student schedules and what to expect during a typical day at the high
school.
Academic programs, the student handbook, and extracurricular activities will also be
discussed.
