We are pleased to announce that the April students of the month are senior Joe Bedekovich and sophomore Mallory Heranic.

Joe is an all-around amazing young man. He excels in service learning by his contributions to class discussions and project development. Recently, Joe won a $400 Sodexo Youth Award to fund a "Viking Crunch Bar" program.His focus is to raise awareness of childhood hunger and the fact that children come to school hungry and cannot keep up with their school work. He provides leadership to the underclassmen in service learning and has made a lasting impression on the school. 

Mallory is an excellent student who was inducted into National Honor Society this month.  In addition to her academic pursuits, Mallory was a letter winner and significant contributor in golf, basketball, and on the section championship winning girls track team as a thrower.  She was nominated by her teachers to be a member of Link Crew next year because of her leadership abilities.
