Hopewell High School National Honor Society President, Ross Nixon, NHS Sponsor, Mr. William Smith, and HHS Principal Michael Allison are pleased to announce our 2020 National Honor Society inductees. Congratulations to these awesome young men and women of Hopewell High School who meet the four pillars of NHS membership and consistently showcase their Viking Pride!
- Scholarship: Per Hopewell guidelines students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.60 or equivalent standard of excellence.
- Service: This involves voluntary contributions made by a student to the school or community, done without compensation.
- Leadership: Student leaders are those who are resourceful, good problem solvers, and idea contributors. Leadership experiences can be drawn from school or community activities while working with or for others.
- Character: The student of good character is cooperative; demonstrates high standards of honesty and reliability; shows courtesy, concern, and respect for others; and generally maintains a clean disciplinary record.
A virtual Induction ceremony will be planned for the near future and students will receive their NHS membership pins in the mail. Information about how, when, and where will be distributed soon.
