I would like to welcome you and your child to Hopewell High School. I am here to assist in providing a healthy learning environment for all students.

"Students must be healthy to be educated and educated to be healthy."

As of this year, I was hired as the new certified school nurse at Hopewell High School. Prior to becoming a school nurse, I worked as a staff nurse in the Emergency Department at Heritage Valley Sewickley for six years. I truly enjoy being a nurse and look forward to this transition in my career!

In addition to being the High School Nurse, I am also the sponsor of the Health Careers Club. The Health Careers Club exists to bring together in high school, young people interested in careers in nursing and health, in order to share these interests, to explore opportunities and requirements in these fields, to grow as individuals by working together, and to learn about community life in which they soon will participate as informed citizens, and to help those who are less fortunate in our community.
